The champagne color of this rod is beautiful (I know it's just a towel rack, but still) and the curve is nice to not have to stuff the towel down behind the rack after using. But, but, but, do not screw up installation. I laugh at the "easy to install" reviews because it wasn't easy for me. Follow the dimensions to the T on the flimsy sketch. If you're even off a 1/16 of an inch on the silver plate to attach the holders or it's ever so slightly cocked, you are screwed! It has to be exact for the plates to fit inside the holders. You cannot cut down the rod to fit because the rod hits a stop inside the hole. I can't stress enough the exactness of getting it right, mainly using a tape measure, pencil and level, as I battled both rods I installed. Only so much recovery when using anchors. I'm giving this towel rod 5 stars because people read the 5 star and 1 star reviews. It's more like 3 star, 5 for looks and 1 for ease of install. Don't not buy consequently, just measure and remeasure before inserting anchors. Be precise!
