Only had this cover for a week but so far it's better - and for $100 less - than the RV cover we had before (from Empire). This one has multiple features to remove any bagginess, such as many "belly" straps and cinching straps on the front and rear. This makes for a tidier appearance, which may be important if you park your RV in your driveway and want to make it less conspicuous for neighbors. This cover has a reinforced roof panel and quality zippers and pulls. Perhaps our favorite feature is that it lets the sun's rays through to reach the solar panels on the RV roof and keep the batteries charged so there's no need to plug the RV in. This time of year the cover is mainly for sun protection here in California. When the rainy season gets here, will try to report back with comments on how the cover does then.Follow-up: It's now the end of May 2018. We had a pretty normal winter for Northern California with a few bad storms, and the cover worked fine to protect our Lazy Daze RV in the driveway. After using it for a year, we've gotten much better at putting it on. We first did it by bundling it up, hugging it and carrying it up a ladder and basically tossing it on the RV roof. Then I'd go up on the roof and spread it out until it draped and covered the RV. That was not the easiest approach because it would get twisted or some of it would be upside down, etc. and I'd have to keep tugging and flipping it - kind of dangerous with the wind blowing it around. Now, my technique is to spread it out on the ground next to the RV making sure the front is in front and the back in back. Also, I make sure it's oriented inside in. I next place the ladder at the midpoint of the RV. With this setup, I can climb the ladder while holding only the middle of the cover letting the front and back ends of it do what they want. Once I can reach the top of the RV, I push the much smaller bundle of cover behind the refrigerator vent cover on that side of our roof. That holds the cover in place. To finish putting on the cover, I get on the roof and pull the cover up onto the roof. Because it's inside in already and I know where the front and back are, it's much easier and faster to put it on. And, it's safer because you only pull it up part by part so the whole cover isn't up there to catch the wind. Regarding wear and tear, the fabric does show some signs of abrasion from rubbing against protruding parts of the RV, but it hasn't started to tear and no holes have formed. If they do, I will put duct tape beneath the hole to patch the cover and keep it going. Apparently, cats like to sharpen their claws on RV covers (trued to capture that in the photo). Overall, one year in, we really like the cover and feel it's doing a fine job protecting the RV parts that take such a beating from the sun. Happy camping!Jim
